Having just gone to the Eye Doctor and gotten new glasses. This book was like that, getting new glasses so I can see God better. Great Read, uplifting. Quotes throughout were really eye openers. Made me really dig deep and consider what I think about God's character. His Word says he is good, and that His character does not change, so, no matter what the circumstance any of us go through, we can really expect God's mercy, favor and goodness to come on the scene. Yes, God's blessings of favor are always greater than whatever comes our way. Kevin does not denounce that we have problems, but explains how God shows up. The book also shows how to change your mind and line it up with the promises of God. I am on a spiritual journey of retraining my thinking and lining it up with God's good character and promises. I enjoyed the "Quotables"section in the appendix at the end of the book, which had all the scripture references as well. Reading this book shows one that they can live in confidence because favor is coming. I received this book from the Waterbrook/Multnomah publishers in exchange for an honest review.
