There is a few decent poems in here but overall it was meh!

I really like the poetry in this book but some of it didn’t make sense to me. I received this book as an early reviewer.

This is a very personal poetic study in grief written following the author’s father’s suicide. It’s an interesting and disturbing collection. I would have kept these to myself rather than publish them but everyone has to get it out of their system in their own way. Wallowing in someone else’s personal hell is not my preference so this wasn’t to my taste despite being masterfully done.

To the Man in the Red Suit is a poetry collection written in the aftermath of the suicide of Christina Fulton's father. This is not a book written about Santa Claus and the poetry is not for the young or faint of heart. Fulton creates jarring images with her words in my case. Especially so with the poems that deal directly with her dad's suicide note. All in all, it is a well written haunting poetry collection and I would read more poetry from the author.
