How do you move forward in life if the ghosts of your past are always there to serve as a reminder? This is something both Anna and Noah have to answer as the navigate life in order to hopefully find solace, purpose, and comfort in the arms of each other. This book picked up almost exactly where The Ghost of You left off. One of my biggest issues with the first book was that I wanted there to be more digging into Anna's backstory, and this time it was there. I am glad that Noah was on hand with her and was able to offer her support and encouragement which I give him Kudos for because Anna did drive me batty a few times. at the same time, Noah has to deal with some issues of his own. However, he didn't try my patience as Anna did.

Great characters, a solid story, and just the right amount of angst. It was a solid conclusion to this duet. I would recommend this author and am glad that I discovered her. She has a way with writing and it made me want to see how this love story would end and how they would come to get their happily ever after.… (lisätietoja)

This was the first time reading this author and I enjoyed it. This book had great characters and an interesting storyline. I am a bit torn though as there were a few areas that it didn't flow as well as I had hoped it would.

The story starts out great, I found myself laughing at the first scene with Noah and his banter with his partner. Those moments stayed through the first portion of the book. However, it seemed to lose some of its luster after that for a portion of the book. the focus of the story came back towards the end. I wanted to know more about Anna and her backstory, especially in light of a major plot twist towards the end. Even though the story didn't flow as well as I had wanted it to in portions of the book, it still kept me reading which shows that this author is skilled. I will be looking to see what happens next and how this story ends.
