Second edition. All the kajillions of babyfood cookbooks out there are useful to some extent or another. This one doesn't appear to stand out, but I liked it for a few reasons.

One, there's a minimum of blather and therefore a maximum of recipes. Two, there's a section for "whole family" recipes which makes it easier to pick out (and adapt) things that are palatable for adults too. Three, the author avoids sexist and heterosexist language -- so this is truly a family-friendly book. Four, the author is generally sensible and not over-hyping

That said -- even the second edition is from 1995, so there's a lot of discussion of using plastic wrap, for instance, which will sound a little odd to the modern version of her target audience (the organic whole foods oriented parent).… (lisätietoja)
