Too folksy for me. A lot of inner monologue that was kinda repetitious and a bit silly for my taste.

I have never read anything like this book.. If you are looking for a paranormal unlike anything you have read before try this book.
First time into this genre, and I'm thinking it's not for me. Don't think I should review this any further, because I may have been looking for something completely different when I read this.
I would like to add one more thing to the review: the only problem I had with the sex scenes are that they weren't described enough. It was too much tell, and not enough show - I expected a lot more show in this sort of genre.
*Edited to clear the one star rating: I realized it's not fair that I should rate this book only because I didn't connect to the genre and was expecting something else. Also added a little to the review.
