So what do you get for your money? You get numerous photos and drawings of Imperial Russian aircraft. You also get numerous capsule histories of the significant personages of Russian military and naval aviation during the Great War. What you don't get is as extensive a narrative history of the Russian air services as you might want, nor how their activities fit in with the overall course of the war. With those limitations in mind this is still quite an impressive work.
