Excellent, comprehensive detail on technique, stretching, pre-and post-run mobility drills, tips on programming and racing - pretty much the only running resource you'd ever need. I think any runner at any level of ability could find something of value here. It's put me on the path of being able to run safely and comfortably - something I haven't been able to do since I was 17.

A lot to take in, and the kind of book I think you put into practice as you read it. Chi running is more of an adaptive process than I first imagined, and will take some time and effort to incorporate. I like the idea, though, of having core muscle groups do more of the work so your legs and smaller muscles get to flow along with the momentum. Based on Tai Chi, the zen-like nature of Chi running appeals to me.'s gonna take time. Really needed to get the DVD to fully understand it, i think, as a book just can't do learning form justice. But I imagine that was their marketing plan all along, as the DVD is plugged often in this book. Chi Running is also supportive of minimalist/barefoot running, so I may learn how to safely run longer distances in my Vibrams relying on this method.… (lisätietoja)

Effortless, Injury-free Running is a dream for every runner, and this book promises to make it come true. The processes explained in this book do make a lot of sense, but how it all works out in practice is to be seen after giving it a try, which I hope to do soon. The writing is not great, the author keeps repeating himself and certain points are not clear even after rereading; the illustrations could have been better. But, all of that can be forgiven if it delivers what it promises in real life.… (lisätietoja)

Some good points. A little too much woo for me. Also writer trying to be funny and wasn't.
