Poorly written. Didn't even want to continue after 4 chapters. I generally like paranormal romances but the storyline was absurd and disjointed. The characters were cliche and just not interesting.

I've got to say that I've never had a book start out like this one. A woman with a rotten husband she can't get shut of until the kids are grown starts dreaming about a developing relationship with a marvelous man who eventually shows her that he is a shifter. This begins five years before they actually meet. He is also having the same dreams. Once they actually meet, in the French Quarter no less, things get out of hand and the weasely ex husband turns out to have ties to the mob and the adventure gets messy.

Such a great book! Most of what's available today is such utter crap, it's refreshing to come across an author who consistently pumps out feel-good novels in a series. The Lebeau books are complex, characters driven stories that are timeless and awesome.
