Amidst the many books being produced concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, this one is accessible, informative, and meticulously sourced. Books and monographs by medical and scientific professionals are indispensable, but this is a blunt and painfully honest book, by two reporters, on the man who has been elevated by Presidents Trump and Biden as "America's doctor." As the authors demonstrate, Anthony Fauci is no such thing: he is the most highly-paid bureaucrat in the federal government, and he is a physician/researcher whose checkered past has been, in some cases, a chamber of horrors. Long before the current scandal over his unnecessary torture of lab animals, Fauci was a headline-seeking opportunist, during both the AIDS and COVID crises, whose pronouncements and advice were as contradictory as they were flawed. Never mind the anguish and inconvenience he put America through during the first year and a half of COVID (wear a mask, don't wear a mask; it's just the flu/it's a deadly plague;no vaccine necessary/vaccines should be mandatory); his research into the AIDS epidemic caused needless and painful deaths in Africa, and his current campaign for experimental "vaccines" on children as young as six months is very nearly criminal.

It should be noted that this is not an "anti-vaccination" book. The authors, being reporters, do not presume to analyze or criticize the various vaccines, and readers who have been vaccinated, as well as those who have not, will profit from reading it. The subject of the book is Dr. Fauci, not the vaccines.

An enjoyable and thought provoking book. There are some typing errors in the book. Every time there's a word with 'fl' in it most or part of the word is missing. So I was guessing what all the 'fl' words were supposed to be, which was annoying. But this book is still worth reading and I highlighted so much of it. I especially enjoyed chapter 5 - "Dunces".

Edit: I read the kindle version in 2017 and I just finished listening to the audio version on Jan. 27, 2019. The audio version was nice because of the typing errors that were in the kindle version.… (lisätietoja)
