This book had simple words to follow and large print. It had many captions and images on each page usually pictorially describing the phenomena that the paragraph was describing using arrows or paintings. At the end of each section, it has a class or home activity that you can try such as making a weather vane or an anemometer. This book seems to touch on each aspect of weather very generally and fast but I could see using specific pages and descriptions from this book. The vocabulary and length of this book are great for the 3rd and 4th grade but not for older grades. it has bold words and a glossary in the back with descriptions which is nice. I could use this to supplement a weather lesson or just have it as a resource in my classroom library. It has good information in it and good ideas for vocabulary words to use and write about throughout the lesson.… (lisätietoja)
