Robin Danner

Having read one of Robin Danner’s historical romances I was eager to read another. Ms Danner has once again has created a strong female lead character. Elizabeth, after having met the expectations of her family and society, finds the strength to pursue the life she chooses to live in the future with the man she most desires. This story is one in which the elderly first husband is to be despised, his son the one to be sought after, the heroine one of strong character, the desired stepson tormented by past choices and…well…on top of all of this there is a wonderful lead into the next novel in the series. A lead-in that titillates by introducing a female captain mercenary in charge of a male crew AND the rather wonderful man who wants to have her as his own.

Having been given a copy of this for my honest review I have to say that this is a wonderful historical romantic romp that holds its own with others of the genre.… (lisätietoja)

Hot, steamy, historical fantasy at its best! Declan is all that one would want in a lover. Lady Grace, the fallen duchess, has the strength and determination I would hope to find within myself should I ever be faced with the situation she found herself in. This is a love story that is more than a love story. It is a story of overcoming adversity, finding love across social lines and also about being true to oneself while caring for those in your charge. I am so in love with Niall right now… the way he growls, bites and kisses with his teeth makes me want to dive into the pages and pull him out for myself. I loved the interactions and the passionate way they express their growing love for each other despite the differences between them.
