Join us as we welcome children's picture book author and illustrator, Mike Curato, as he reads his new book and demonstrates his drawing technique in the Readings Gallery.

Mike Curato was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City. He has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil. Mike attended Syracuse University and has a BFA in Illustration. After college, he moved to Seattle, where he eventually began a career as a graphic designer. Little Elliot, Big City is the first of a three-book series. Mike currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
