Hugh Corbin

A biographical monograph, written by a resident of Friends House Retirement Community, and published by his son. What makes any of us tick? This small book is a tribute to Hugh and much appreciated by other residents at Friends House. Hugh studied with a wide variety of teachers.

The author is a friend of mine.The book is his explanation of his art. Self-published with the encouragement of his son, Marcus, it offers insight into Hugh and into his art. I have personally witnessed the progression of his pastels, as well as the encouragement he gives to his current students--all residents of Friends House Retirement Community in Sandy Spring, Maryland.
