My first introduction to this wonderful new cookbook was when the author sent me an electronic preview. Not being familiar with the sous vide method of cooking, it took a bit to determine if this was for me or now. I had a friend who had the equipment and let me borrow it to play. I will admit I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food from this method. I also found that with a bit of imagination, I could convert some of these fabulous recipes to traditional cooking methods. I have just received my print copy of Carey’s book and it is a work of art. The stunning photography is enough to set your mouth to watering. The instructions in both print and digital versions are very clear, and the first chapter does a great job of explaining the entire process. For anyone wishing to practice a healthier method of cooking, or who just loves new gadgets to play with, this method – and this cookbook – are for you. I will recommend this one to my cooking buddies.… (lisätietoja)
