I am keeping this review short and sweet for a few reasons. This is a good book. It kept me intrigued. The characters’ personalities are real enough. However, the things I didn’t care for the book are blocking me from being able to put into words what exactly I thought of the book. First, the editing. Horrible. Was there any? I don’t think so. Emotion. I couldn’t feel anything. The writing style just didn’t bring me to the characters’ levels. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not a bad book. It’s just not written as well as I expected. The plot is great. The delivery and grammatical errors stopped me from giving it 5 hearts. I don’t usually base editing on my ratings, however, the lack of it here took away from the book so much that I had to reread parts of the book many times because there were words missing and incomplete thoughts.… (lisätietoja)

I don't know where to start with this book! I can say that I am sitting here smiling as I am typing this review. I could not have loved this book anymore than I did! There aren't many positive adjectives I wouldn't use to describe this book! It is a work of art! A work of art? Yes. I will be honest. I was shaky with the last book of Tammy Coons and Michelle Pace's book I read. I am not saying I didn't like that book. It just didn't flow for me. So, needless to say, I was just a tiny bit apprehensive going into this book. Just a tiny bit because so many readers absolutely raved over this book! Now I know why! You would never know that two talented woman wrote this masterpiece!
I think many of us can relate to the town of Jefferson Point, whether we have lived in a small town or grew up watching TV shows about small towns. This book took me into a journey of love, loss, friendship and family. As always, I am not going to give away the plot. I will tell you why you MUST read this book!
I cried. I laughed. I smiled. I frowned. I got totally pissed off. I love when a book elicits so many emotions from me in one simple story of life. This book could not be any more perfect than it is! I fell in love with the characters I should love, and I loathed the characters that were deserving of my loathing! I experienced everyone's love, loss and sense of betrayal. I was sucked in, and I cannot seem to disconnect myself from this wonderful story! It took me on a roller coaster that I wouldn't mind riding over and over again. The reality of loving someone, even despite their flaws, is so relate-able.
I will be recommending this book to everyone I know. I cannot give this book enough of my praises!… (lisätietoja)
