I won this in a giveaway - My opinion of a book is based on what it was trying to 'pitch" itself to be: a quartet of short stories that move in gradations from comic to tragic. The short (check) stories (check) were good (agreed: I loved the first one the best) and well written. Yes, I would recommend the book as I enjoyed the stories... but, I would not recommend the $7.99 AMAZON price-tag: It looks and feels like a Scholastic Reading Club book. Get the eBook version instead!
