This is a self help book for the self centered. I can sum up the books main points in one sentence and save you a lot of time delving into the author's achievements and personal life which enjoys and and never tires of sharing with the reader. The points of the book are we achieve bliss through the simple things in our lives and to be a self fulfilled person you have to be authentic. That is it. Now go do something else. There is not one tiny bit of altruism here (helping other people) It is all about me, me, me. In her new book, Betsy Chasse seeks to help the reader navigate his/her spiritual path by providing an admirably candid and sincere account of her own journey and personal challenges, relaying the insights and revelations that have come to her along the way. I particularly appreciated her thought-provoking ideas on anger and forgiveness, judgment and self-acceptance. Much of the advice offered seems to relate more to psychology than spirituality, but the logic is sound and the objectives presented are certainly constructive and realistic.

Though the writing feels a bit manic and unfocused at times, the book succeeds as a light and easily digestible treatment of some pretty heavy subject matter.
