Originally published in Swedish as Jultröjan, A Christmas Sweater for Nina is a sweet, cozy little picture-book confection, perfect for this time of year, and for the holiday season. It has many elements that appeal to me, from a homeless animal protagonist who finds a home, to the idea of the bookstore as a shelter for the lost. I'm not a knitter myself, but I would imagine that the role of the thread/yarn and in the story will please many readers as well. The artwork is colorful and cute, depicting a town made up entirely of animal characters. Recommended to anyone looking for heartwarming picture-books for Christmas time.… (lisätietoja)
