Kinfolk Travel: Slower Ways to See the World Tekijä: John Burns
Some of the topical essays were thought-provoking. I liked that the essays were short. Photos were beautiful--I wish there were a few more of them, and better-captioned.
I think the word "garden" in the title is misleading. The book does have some gardening tips. Many of the chapters aren't really about gardens, but about people who work with plants, or have lots of plants in their homes. I'm fine with that, but if I were a serious gardener, I would be disappointed.
Wie eine Zeitschrift, die man einmal durchblättert und dann weglegt. Ausgefallene Gärten, Häuser, etc. privilegierter Menschen, da scheint oft viel Geld da zu sein. Die Gärten liegen überwiegend nicht in unserer Kilmazone. Ist mir keine Inspiration.
