While I didn't think it was a funny as 'Some Like It Charming', it definitely got some grins and chuckles out of me. It is very fast paced and Cole is always in trouble with Maggie.
Maggie and Cole are fully developed characters that you can really sink you teeth in. They compliment each other flawlessly. Where Cole is hot, Maggie is cold and they blend perfectly in the middle. They protect and defend each other even when they are fighting each other.
The only negative is a very few editing mistakes where a word was missing in a sentence in my Kindle Edition. There is no down time in the story. At 285 pages you get a full and well rounded story that will delight any romance reader. It is not erotica, yet the passion between these two singe the pages with exquisite ADULT romance.
I am so enchanted with this series that I downloaded 'Some Like It Perfect', Book #3, before I started writing this review despite the fact I haven't read the synopsis!! I never do that.… (lisätietoja)

Some like it Charming is a Contemporary Romantic Comedy. It made me smile, grin, and laugh out loud. Both Mackenzie and Ethan are strong characters and easy to sink your teeth into. They both love a challenge and they both love to win. So their favorite thing to do is to 'One Up' each other. Loving each other is the furthest thing from their minds.
Just like Mr. Charming, (Ethan), this story will charm and beguile you. Megan Bryce did a fantastic job of creating realistic roles and environment. She took the two most 'Commitment Phobia' personalities in that setting and let the entertainment skyrocket.
Why 4 stars instead of 5?
First, my copy had some editing mistakes and I always take points away for that.
Second is the price. A 180 page read (quickie to me) for $6.99 on Amazon Kindle. It seems a little overpriced. How much is a story that will make you laugh so hard your face and stomach hurts from it worth? Hard to put a price on something that brings that much laughter and amusement into your world.

Well written and full of laughter. I know I only gave it 4 stars. It is more of a 4.5 but, alas, we don't have that option.
I loved the main female character Delia. She is a funny, easy going, 36 year old woman who was raised by hippies! Jack is a stuck to routine, buried under responsibilities and what he feels is family duty. Rich and good looking, but happiness is a dream he can't see coming his way. Until Delia breezes into his life with her 'I don't care' attitude.
All the characters in this story are well written. It will make you laugh out loud. Yes! I made heads turn, wondering why I was laughing so hard! Warning: Reading this in public may cause you to suddenly get everyone's attention!
I loved this story and can't wait to read #4 'Some Like it Hopeless'.… (lisätietoja)
