This book contains official and unofficial history of the men and planes of the 2nd Air Division based in England in World War II. It details the role of the 2nd Air Division personnel played in turning East Anglia into 'Little America' if only for a short time. It is the first definitive history of the B-24 units in England.
Provides detailed technical and operational information about the B-24 plane and each crewmember's weaponry and/or equipment. Chiefly includes first-hand reports of combat missions by Liberator crewmembers, many from previously unpublished oral histories.
