I keep trying to read this one (after I finally got it, months later with much wear and tear) I will add to this review if and when I finish.

I gave up on this book about 75 pages in. I did not like it because I did not sympathize at all with the main character, though the author wants us to.

Interesting premise, the aftermath of a terrible accident that kills a young lady and the effect on both families. I really couldn't get past a few pages. The characters were unlikable and made it hard to engage with the story.

The writing format is easy to read. The subject matter not so much. A family's difficulties that have not been dealt with come to a head after an unfortunate accident.
The book doesn't follow a formula which I liked.
