A travelogue of two women touring northern India together and their humorous and sometimes hair-raising adventures. The title makes it sound racier than it is. The truth is that the nearest they come to sex is reading the Kama Sutra in the evenings and getting pinched in the market place during the day.

The author seems like a delightful person and someone I would love to travel with. She has a good eye for detail and notes both the beauty and the squalor of India with equal amounts of affection and good humor. I was amazed by their bravery of using public transportation to travel cross country, especially on the overcrowded trains. My only complaint is that the narrative feels choppy - almost like diary entries. "Today we did this, then this, then this..." Otherwise, it paints a beautiful picture of a complex country and its people.… (lisätietoja)
