Marcus Berkmann is a hugely funny writer, though much of the humour in this book is of the 'celebrating crapness' school that flourished in the 1990s. Despite this, it is a light, enjoyable read for the cricket fan.

Marcus created a new club called Rain Men (after his earlier book) and this is their story! A group of ageing, injury-prone and not-very-good cricketers - including a tour to Sweden. The chapter entitled The Joy of Stats is a particular favourite!
