A quick biography told in small paragraph form with an illustration for each paragraph. It tells a short but somewhat in depth story of Anne's heartbreaking story.
This Pocket Bio, literally holds true to its name. It is very informational for a small book. It tells the short story of Anne Frank and gives you the basic knowledge of what you need to know. Later in the book it has facts, and little things you may not have known before about Anne Frank. I can say I learned that her sister Margot also wrote a diary. This book tells the the historic timeline of Anne’s Life.
This Pocket Bio of Frida Kahlo is a short read but is very informative. It goes through each major point in Kahlo's life, so we can understand her background better. Kahlo spent much of her life in pain between polio and a serious bus accident, but she found joy in painting and reached a high level of fame within her lifetime. The timeline, map, and important people sections at the end of the book are a simplified way to help readers understand key details about Kahlo's life. Although I knew a little about Kahlo previously, the Pocket Bio about her taught me new information about her life.… (lisätietoja)
