Dissecting the DSM-5 with Mara Collins

Join us for a discussion led by Charis' in-house counselor, Mara Collins, on the feminist ethics of the new edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Mara will address some of the changes in the new manual, and their implications on people of all levels of mental functioning. She will ask the question, "How can the DSM be transformed into a liberatory tool?" Mara invites deep participation from the group. Please bring any documentation from your agency or association to share with each other.
