I read this book to my 5-year-old neighbor, Everleigh. She would probably give this one 4 stars, as she stated, "I like it because the yucky parts were funny." Those yucky parts were the same reason that this book ranks only 2 stars for me, so I averaged our ratings for this review. I imagine most kids will enjoy the funniness and yuckiness of this book; grown-ups will just have to decide if they can stomach reading it to their kids!

This book was fun. It is a fun way to introduce problem solving skills.It was colorful and entertaining. It could also be used to talk about collects also. The author was also the illustrator and her back ground in off beat art truely shows in the pictures.
Prudy likes to collect everything and her family and friends think she has a problem. Prudy disagrees until finally comes to the realization that she does have too many collections. Her family and friends help her find use for all the collections. This is a great book to use as a read aloud or incorporate into a lesson.
