This is one of those books that looks likes it's going to be easy to do the projects, but when you get into it, steps are left out or discussed in another chapter or are talked about vaguely so you have no idea what to do. For instance, there's a sidebar on getting rid of sharp ends that tells you to do it and mentions files, but doesn't tell you how to do it. The tools section only mentions files in passing while talking about Arken-stone, which evidently the author uses for filing, but is usually used to sharpen things.

If you already know a bunch of wire working techniques, you might get some new ideas from this book, though I have to say the author has a very distinctive style, and it was hard for me to see how to make the techniques your own without copying the style.

So, beginners beware and old hands might want to look but probably don't need to own.… (lisätietoja)
