Cathleen Armstrong

Catherine Armstrong has written an excellent debut novel. I look forward to seeing more of her books in the future.

The characters of "Welcome to Last Chance" are believable and likeable all at the same time. Situated in the small town of Last Chance, New Mexico - a place in the middle of no where the sweet story unfolds. This author took a lot of time in describing the town and setting. She also was excellent at character development and bringing out sub-stories and sub-plots.

Last Chance is a place where Lanie Davis finds herself after leaving her boyfriend who has been nothing but trouble. In a way it is her 'last chance' to find a new start and new life. Interesting enough she lands in a town where such a thing is possible. She not only makes new friends who help to mend her broken heart and even find a new love.

This is an excellent debut novel. Filled with warmth, love, and redemption. I enjoyed it from the very first page.

The town of Last Chance, New Mexico is very pleased that Dr. Jessica MacLeod is opening an office on Main Street. They are also excited that their home town football hero, Andy Ryan, is coming back to coach their high school football team. Dr. Jess will start off on the wrong foot when "this football-obsessed town" finds out she never seen a football game and also doesn't care to. Despite having little in common, Andy and Jess will find themselves drawn to one another. But can this match really endure the tests that come their way.

I found this series delightful and very entertaining. The people in this town really grow on you and by the end of this series, you are sorry to see them go. You could read this as a stand alone story, but you will miss getting to know all the people in this story, unless you read the whole series. Well worth your time.… (lisätietoja)

This is the second book in this series, and the town of Last Chance and the people who live there are growing on me. In this story Sarah Cooley has come home to teach in the school at Last Chance. Sarah is not one who likes change, so she is not happy that the new owner of the local diner in town, Chris Reed, wants to change up his restaurant a little. These two are at odds with each other a lot in the story, but Chris has a niece, Olivia, who will come to stay with him, and I feel Olivia is the one that brings them together and helps them each see the true value in each other.

The town of Last Chance and the people who live there are fun to read about. It was a charming story about the "winds of change" and how it can affect everyone. Looking forward to reading more about Last Chance in the next two books in this series.… (lisätietoja)
