Before settling in to read this, I suggest getting as comfy as possible, grabbing your favorite drink, and a big box of tissues. These stories are raw, beautiful, emotional, and pull no punches. Of course, I read the warning in the blurb - that the stories wouldn't be pretty and would likely break my heart, but I didn't actually expect it to happen. I cried, I smiled, I laughed, and my heart broke more times than I thought it could. This was an absolutely amazing, emotional experience. I'm sitting here, typing this, still reeling from the emotional roller coaster that comes with how immersed you become once you start reading these stories. This was an interesting read with a lot of erotic romance. I voluntarily chose to review this story and I've given it a 4* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers and involves a young woman who likes to cut herself. Parts of this is disturbing, yet it helps to understand why she does it. Beyond the sexual content, this does address a problem that is not widely talked about in a way that many can see why they do it.
I didn't enjoy this story as much as "Learning to Love". Again this is not for the under 18 readers. I found the heroine in this one to be more loopy, she had a hard time making up her mind. I've voluntarily chose to review this and I gave it a 4*rating. I'm surprised that there was no mention of the two main characters from the first book. The heroine takes the hero for quite a ride while she is making up her mind. I'm ready for book 3, "Beautifully Broken".
This is a special love story. While I didn't like the dirty language or the sexual content, this story is partially from the standpoint of a girl in high school with a brain tumor. There are a lot of feels in this story and you might want to keep tissue handy. I voluntarily chose to review this and I gave it a 5* rating. I'm not sure the under 18 readers, would want to read this. This was worth the read.
