On the upside, this is one heck of a month to pick a favorite from my challenge ... I did finish up The Unlikely Disciple by Kevin Roose and I enjoyed it - it was a really interesting look at a semester at Liberty University. - The Financial Lives of the Poets 39. Unlikely Disciple by Kevin Roose - good account of a Brown student who attends Liberty University for a semester. I finished Unlikely Disciple last night. It was interesting but I don't think I would call it fabulous or anything like that. I started the next book in the Echo Falls mystery series by Peter Abrahams which is sort of a modern day Nancy Drew series. My daughter and I are reading them. So ... Happy Birthday, teelgee!
I am still reading Unlikely Disciple which I normally would have finished by now. My SIL treated me and three of my kids to a last minute trip to NYC for a couple of days this week so I didn't get any reading done those two days. The rest of the week was busy as well. ... ... I'm considering returning to The Three Musketeers but am feeling a bit saturated with reading for the moment. I also bought Death in the Haymarket ... Book 98 is The Unlikely Disciple: A Sinner's Semester at America's Holiest University by Kevin Roose, which I picked up because I kept seeing it pop up on the radio and elsewhere, and figured I ought to find out what the fuss was. Roose is an Oberlin-raised Brown-educated Quaker who decides, ... Finished Columbine, and continuing with Red Mutiny. Also reading Unlikely Disciple just for fun, though some of it is scary. ... of No Limits: The Will to Succeed, plus I have Family Guy and Philosophy and How Do You Know You're Not Wrong.
