This is your average chick lit book - don't pick it up if you want literacy genius, more if you want a bit of a giggle and a slightly predictable but easy to read story. I think it's well written for chick lit, but it won't be winning any prizes anytime soon. It also left one of the questions I wanted answering unanswered. However overall, any fan of Kinsella will not be disappointed. This is classic chick-lit, so you know what to expect: outlandish situations, not much depth (but a bit of a moral) some laughs and a happy ending. Here you will get it all. Since Kinsella has moved away from Becky Bloomwood (Shopaholic) it is slightly less formulaic. But you will still have all the classic Kinsella items: Job woes, a posh apartment, an odd mother, and a somewhat ditsy but lovable heroine who cares about the people around her. Overall this is a fun read; it can hold your attention, is interesting and is funny. Don't expect anything groundbreaking and do expect it to be very similar to all the Kinsella novels. It’s perfect for a flight, a vacation or a sick-in-bed read. not really into the story , I think the story is too bizzare . you know , the idea about : one day you wake up and 3 years already pass thingie . but I love love love the ending . seriously !! I mean Im not into happy ending , I love a tragic bittersweet ending ( thats why I hate breaking dawn , ahem ) . and yes .. this books have a happy ending ( its chicklit anyway ) , but the ending kinda witty and logic , so I like it !!

This book is about a young women whose life, in her words, is crap. Crappy job, lousy boyfriend, crooked teeth, always needing to lose 5 to 10 pounds. After a night out and slightly intoxicated, she falls down a flight of stairs and wakes up in hospital to find it’s three years later. After recovering from the shock of not being 25 any longer, she finds out she hasn’t been lying in a bed for 3 years either. She discovers that she has become a director of the company she works at, she can afford top quality clothing and accessories, she’s thin, tanned and her teeth are straight! She finds she is the owner of a gigantic diamond engagement ring, but the biggest surprise is the plain gold wedding band and a husband called Eric!
Light and fun, not great literature but a good chick-lit book with a heroine that you can't help rooting for. (
