(  ) Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | This was great backstory for anyone who has read Ms. Gilmore’s Clover Park series. Since it is the background to other books, I feel you could easily read this as a stand alone. I will say that if you haven’t read the others, this book will make you seek them out. I liked the way Allie was able to prove that she was strong & capable & didn’t just fall into another relationship to avoid being alone. Vinny has to stand up for Allie & himself but he did so by honoring the life he had with his first life. Neither of them forced the boys acceptance but it proved how well they were raised that they were able to accept it. I really enjoyed the sweet romance of this story!
