It took a while for me to really get into Undercover Attraction--the reasons for Aiden and Charlie's fake relationship felt pretty flimsy, and they jumped so quickly into a physical relationship that it made all of their protests and posturing about "how things were going to go" look a bit silly. But once things really got started--with the myriad of opposing forces swirling ever closer and Charlie's attempts bringing Aiden's wayward siblings back into the fold, not to mention their gradual growing feelings for each other (their early sex scenes had me rolling my eyes a bit, I won't lie. But the later ones? Blew. My. Socks. Off.) and the ever-tightening danger around them--I was well and truly hooked. OMG, this series--just when I was almost ready to write this book off, it grabbed me by the neck and wouldn't let go.

Undercover Attraction involves all of the characters from the other series books, and though one probably could read it on its own it would definitely have more of an impact if you've read the others too--better to understand the family dynamics; plus, it's so much fun to see where everyone's ending up after time has gone by. But don't even think about reading this one and stopping--because where Ms. Robert leaves us with the whole Keira/Dmitri drama? It's just darn cruel. February seems an awfully long time away...

First of all, I love the cover "Hot, Damn!" I could look at it all day.....

The book, I alway's look forward to an O'Malley release and this one was well worth waiting for. The suspense and sexual tension is in evidence through out this thrilling addition to the O'Malley series as Boston's Mafia crime bosses butt heads again.

Aiden O'Malley is now the head of the family, he's determined to keep everyone safe, but some are feeling a little trapped and feelings have been bruised. He's not sorry for how things have to be, but he can't change it, he needs to keep control for every one.
A fellow boss, Dmitri Romanov is someone that needs watching closely. He was rejected by Aiden's sister Carrigen when she married someone else, he's now declared his intention's to marry Aiden's younger sister Keira. Aiden is not happy with the union and will do anything to stop it, he wants Dmitri gone for good but he'll needs help.
Charlotte Finch is an ex-cop, disgraced when accused of taking bribes, but was never charged. Alone, disowned by her FBI father, Charlie now has managed to pull her life together again but it will never be the same, thanks to Dmitri Romanov. She was falsely connected to the dirty cops that were answering to Romanov and he never came forward, she has never forgotten it.
Aiden asks her to play his fake fiancée to act a distraction while he wheels and deals his way to Dmitri's down fall. Charlie can't resist, she'll finally get her justice....or will it be revenge.

The chemistry between Charlie and Aiden was hot, hot, hot. They decide to ignore the feelings that were pulsing between them, which doesn't last very long as their attraction can't be denied and they realize that any show of fondling or lust would strengthen their act as a loving couple. Every one seems to be butting against one another, and Romanov - is he to be trusted when asked to help? And what does Keira truly want? Hold on tight for this rollercoaster ride of tension, excitement and hot thrills.

The next book is Keira and Dmitri, I can't wait. It's going to be interesting to see how a turn around can be made for bad guy Dmitri. ( )
