Gavin and Rachel chose to take the scenic route to love. The trip consisted of regrets, betrayals and heartache, but the endgame proved worth every bump in the road. It's never too early to get in the holiday spirit. Especially when you live in a picturesque town like Yuletide. Ms. Rock takes the best parts of the holiday season and places them in a small town setting. A Chance This Christmas is a Hallmark movie just waiting to be made. On the wings of love, Ms. Rock delivers a story of forgiveness, new beginnings and heartwarming fun. ( )

DNF at 13%-the first 13% is just basically repeating the events that chased Rachel out of town so many times that it is either excessive filler or the reader is supposed to be forced to pity Rachel. Poor Rachel, her dad embezzled the town. Poor Rachel, she has the Scarlet Letter because she kissed her ex-boyfriend's friend. Poor Rachel, she has to hide herself and sneak around town so they won't come after her with pitchforks. It was redundant and irritating. Furthermore, it already made it abundantly clear that Gavin, the one she shared the controversial kiss with, is famous, handsome, perfect, and will be the hero and Prince Charming. I cannot finish this book and I cannot imagine how it is the third book in a series.

A quick read for the holidays. One of those books you can pick up and sit in front of a crackling fire and finish in one sitting.

A Chance this Christmas is a very enjoyable book for a cute holiday-themed romance. I was surprised that it was actually more multi-dimensional than I first believed. The character development was well-done, and the relationship was not forced. A significant portion of the story was devoted to the character's rocky relationship with the town, which was a nice addition to the plot.
Overall, a very fun read to get me in the holiday spirit! I recommend it. ( )

This story is set in a town which celebrates Christmas 365 days a year. Rachel left town on bad terms years ago, and has come back to make peace with the past. It's a story full of romance and Christmas cheer. I like the characters and enjoyed the story. It's a nice and quick December read. ( )
