I must have not read the Jeanine Frost story cause this def deserves at least 4 stars. Ian needs his own series. PLEASE! ( )

This duo of holiday Urban Fantasy novellas is a mixed bag. I didn't like The Gift, but I loved Home for the Holidays. I'm not impressed with the Argeneau vampires, but I want to read more about Bones' and Cat's makeshift family.

Another Dollar Tree find for me. Nothing too substantial on the Argeneau front, but a fun little read. Also an interesting introduction to Frost's series. And, as a "Christmas" book, quite interesting. ( )

This book is actually two short stories under one cover. I was mainly wanting to read the Lynsay Sands story; however, I ended up liking both of the stories. Four stars from me for both stories.

I have been working on reading the Argeneua series in order but I wanted to read a holiday story so I skipped ahead to this book. It is not necessary to read the series in order because Sands gives you enough information to know what is going on with the characters. Though be warned some names are mentioned that you will not understand if you have not read the previous books. In short I thought this was a great addition to the series and I loved the holiday theme.

I have not read anything else by Frost other than the story contained in this book; therefore, I cannot comment on how this story fits with the rest. I did enjoy this one and plan on reading more by her. ( )
