Book tastes

I am a pretty broad reader, I like Scifi, Literary Fiction, Historical Fiction, or Narrative Non-Fiction. Anything off my wishlist collection in my profile is fair game. But I am definitely open to any favorites that you have that might broaden my horizons.

Don't get this!

No fantasy, or romance please.

Other notes

I am a member of the 75 Book Challenge Group. My current thread is : https://www.librarything.com/topic/354035 (if the link doesn't work, its in my profile). It shows all the books I've read this year, as well as my on going bucket list reads of all the Hugos, Nebulas, Pulitzers and several other lists I'm tracking.

Secret Santa

mahsdad's Secret Santa was TheDivineOomba!

TheDivineOomba: Hello there - I hope you enjoy these selections - I started off with a list of 5 books, but what I choose fit the budget, and hopefully will be a good addition to your library! The other books that I was considering is Hench, by by Natalie Zina Walschots, A Night in Lonesome October by Zelazny (unfortunately, out of stock), Three Men in a Boat, by Jerome K Jerome - an incredibly funny book written at the turn of the century, and is the source of Connie Willis's, To Say Nothing of the Dog. For Graphic Novels, Check out "Over the Wall" by Peter Wartman, the Gone Away World by Nick Harkaway.

Happy Holidays and happy reading. (marraskuu 29, 2023, 9:17pm)
