Don't worry about it - we built in some extra leeway, knowing that some of the books came late.

Hi Tara,

If you're still having problems searching your library, could you please email me more details (casey at librarything.com) on what searches don't work? It appears to be working fine from what I can see.

Hi Tara,
I have not yet read any Charlotte Bingham, though I think I have a couple of her novels. They look like good vacation reads!
Hi Tara! It only occurred to me yesterday to click on your LT link and look at your books. When I did I was surprised at how many slightly unusual books we have in common. The Seamstress and On Hitler's Mountain for instance. I just bought the latter after loving The Book Thief so much and wanting to investigate a bit more. Have you read those two yet?

Thanks for friending me back. :-)
My pleasure, believe me. Any time.

Hello there!
Yes, we do share a good number of books. The first "Downunder" author I read (she was from New Zealand even though she eventually lived in Australia) is Jean Devanny, with her novel Cindie. I really enjoyed the book, in fact I read it twice, something I very rarely do. Other excellent Australian female authors are Katherine Susannah Prichard, Eleanor Dark and, of course, Katherine Mansfield (from New Zealand).
If you look in my tags, under Australia, you will find other writers. Enjoy and happy to be of help whenever I can.

Hi! Thanks for being my LibraryThing friend. It's nice to meet you.

Lisa :)
15 Persephones! I have been considering Miss Ranskill Comes Home too. It looks really interesting. You got some of my favourites here :-)
