Hello! I was excited to see that you are on this site. I wanted to let you know that I've just sent two of your books to a woman in Zambia. She mooched one book and said that its very hard to get paranormal romance books there, so I sent her another of your books and another regular romance book. I've just discovered your books, so I have many more to look forward to reading. I really enjoyed If Angels Burn and Private Demon.
I just had to leave a comment and say that I LOVE your books. They are very interesting and I am always waiting anxiously for the next one! Keep up the good work! Have a nice day!

Hello S.Kelly

I am pleased you added me as a friend. You have an interesting profile. I wish you personal energy cultivation that you may harness the power within thereby findinding your own voice and materializing your dreams. May you embrace the wisdom within as you connect with the soul and may your earth walk be one of pure consciousness and universal connections.
hi. i love your darkyn series! i have only read two but there really good. i like how you dont make them all evil or seeming to be damned to hell. i think anne rice does that a little too much. you make your character so real seeming and emotional that you cant help but connect to them. where did you get the idea for the series?
Wow, you have an impressive amount of published work. I am pea-green with envy. LOL We share 24 books, including the Darkyn novels. Very cool.
Hi, Lynn ~ I just learned that you are the author of the Darkyn novels and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the first two in the series and look forward to reading the third one (and rereading the first two as well). I find the stories intelligent as well as sexy and, though more intense than humorous, that is just fine with me! Also love the characters; the Darkyn are just powerful enough without being invincible, and the leading ladies are vulnerable without being helpless and/or clueless. I hope this series continues a good long while!

Oh, love the puppy, by the way. Puppies always seem to be chewing on someone's hand, don't they?
Odd. It never occurred to me the same author wrote the StarDoc novels and "If Angels Burn." They really don't seem similar in writing style, although maybe that can be attributed more to content than style.

I've not read all the StarDoc novels, but the ones I have read, I've enjoyed. Didn't yet make it through "If Angels Burn," because it hasn't pulled me in as much as the first StarDoc or "Blade Dancer," but it's still quite good. I think maybe I didn't feel the characters as much as in StarDoc; Cherijo was such a powerful character and I felt involved by knowing her background and experiences.

Have you read "Expendable" by James Alan Gardner? I'd highly recommend it. It's one of those with strong female characters. In this one, the physically undesirable people are used for exploration missions because losing one of them wouldn't really matter to other people. This book is usually mentioned along with StarDoc because of the character driven sci-fi plot. Anyway, give it a go if you haven't already.

You're quite an accomplished writer. Thanks for the hours of entertainment! :)
Please take this as a compliment: you are so YOUNG. For some reason your photo took me totally by surprise.

Imagine all you'll get writ by the time you're my age.
Funny, I've added 1700 books since I left the last message and our books in common figure has leapt by one ... to 7 ;-)
Hiya ;-) I'm surprised we don't have many books in common, but then I just started cataloguing mine.
Ms. Viehl,

Hi, I'm just reading the Way of the Cheetah ebook, which is terrific.
I think it's weird that I share no books with you, however, because your library
is full of stuff I would love to read.

Julia
I had to take a break while I tried desperately to get caught up on other things.

It didn't work, of course, and I'm going to go back to adding material later tonight. I need to at least get the books that have been stacked on the table for the last six days!
I got this link from you. Then I passed it on, and for some reason people keep telling me I'm evil. By the way, when you reply to a name, it goes to that person's page, so it looks as though people are having odd, one-sided conversations. (grin)
It's YOU!

Hi there. Amazing where some of us turn up, isn't it?
Thanks for the info, Tim
