Tietoja minusta I am a writer and publisher from Windsor, England. I spent a number of years as head of buying for a chain of bookshops and in that time I was sent an obscene number of free books, most of which I took home just in case I will ever get round to reading them.

Tietoja kirjastostani Books are all over the house but in some semblance of order. There is a bookcase in the living room which houses the many volumes I have accumulated but have yet to read. There is another in my bedroom which contains the many books I have read, loved and wish to keep. The attic study has piles more unread books that won't fit anywhere else. The kitchen has a bespoke shelf of cookbooks and there are a few more shelves of special books dotted around the place.

Hi Scott, I was delighted to see I'm top of your books shared list, and even more delighted to see you have more unread books than me! Have just discovered your fab blog, (via dovegreyreader's, who I met recently) and it's become a daily treat. I ordered "The food taster" after your write-up and am looking forward to reading it.
Cheers
Annabel
Scott , I haven`t seen much of graphic novels . Sarnath was the first . Can you suggest some more ?
Hi Scott. You keep creeping up my 'members with CelesteM's books' list. It must be a booktrade thing, although it's strange to think of two overlapping libraries literally poles apart. (Okay, a slight exaggeration - hemispheres apart, really.) Enjoy the trip to Iceland. My housemate has just returned from spending a year there. No, she did not pack fish, but is writing a mystery novel set there. What a great excuse to go travelling! I would like to add you to my list of interesting libraries, if I may. Cheers, Celeste
Thanks, Scott - fresh back from hols, I've done the Early Reviewers thing - I live in hope!

Hello! Hope you don't mind - I've sent a friends request - maybe if I mention your name LibraryThing will start sending me those free book emails too (even though I can't have them)?!?

Hello. Just discovered this. Addictive isn't it?

I have had a message from someone who wants to know which Murakami short stories to start with. Recommendation?
I've just found your lit blog and I am enjoying your reviews. We have 46 books in common so far.
you are nice.
Could I get an explanation for the f*** off tag too? I'm afrid your reply to southpaw isn't showing. I'm assuming that it doesn't mean books you hated as Black Swan Green is catalogued three times, once as a f*** off and twice as a 5*.

Have come from your blog, I work with children so am looking forward to you having an archived subcategory of Ethan (Age 8) Recommends & Martha (Age 5) Recommends.
Excellent - thanks for the clarification! A most unusual approach (and I'm sure one which sticks in many authors' memories :) )
I'd really love to know exactly what the 'f*** off' tag means to you....
Hajimemashite! I can see you're something of a Murakami completist..not jealous, no, not jealous at all...
Just stumbled over your profile looking around here - it's my first LT-day... And had a look at your website: a great idea and a fascinating project! I worked for the Frankfurt Bookfair for some years so I'm quite familiar with and interested in the publishing market..

Best wishes for your first days!
hey, you're cracking on with adding titles. Only a small dent though hey!
Are you realising how satisfyingly compulsive this is?
I knew things were bad when I started to scour the house for anything I may have left out.The stash of Observer books in the loo got me over the 4000!Tragic and sad I know.
Don Quixote was the first
