Tietoja minusta Nothing much about me, I am a Library Assistant working with students, trying to get them to enjoy books as much as I do. I, myself, is a bookworm. I, basically read anything. And I mean ANYTHING, but of course, I personally love the horror genre. Mystery / Thrillers is next in line and Literary is the third. True Crime is next. But I still read anything!

That is what happens when I've been shoved books under my nose by my parents and relatives since I was a kid. Particularly my mom.

Currently I am going through the process of reading every fiction (between work) in the place where I work, so I know which books that might interest the students. So that explains why my last 5 books read are mosly teens and children books.

I'm also trying to encourage the teens in my school to read more. But being on a limited government budget it's hard. So I'm making a wishlist just to get books for the school's library where I work

The books in this library consist of books I have read since last 2006. Prior to that is either unlisted or just rated and not reviewed, because I don't really recall the storyline or so. But I still plan to reread some of them.

April 9th, 2007 : 3000 Books!
June 4th, 2007 : 4000 Books!
July 10th, 2008 : 5000 Books!

TBR = To be Read (yes I have bunch of these. plus the ones I want to reread)

TBR Soon = Short Listed TBR that is in my top of my list

Everybody has their own reading challenges to reduce their Mount to read pile of books. I, however, get a bit randy in challenges and I think I have gone overboard. It's hard to choose what books to read in a specific order. I salute the rest of my "Reading Challenge" prone reading aquantainces. But I have to get them all mixed up.

I instead have taken the step to get myself a reading log and managed (thanks to fyrefly98's little graph idea I managed to tweak it enough to play a part on my very own "Can You beat the Goal line?" challenge. *chuckles*

Wow - we have a wide variety of books in common! Glad you found some new stuff to seek out from my library. Unless it's marked TBR I've read everything I've cataloged so feel free to ask my opinions on anything you're debating reading.

Thanks for your comment. Ur profile puts mine to shame. I started entering my books in a couple of years back with great gusto. I hit a rock when it became too tedious to enter all the data for all my 'non standard' language books in languages like Thai, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia etc. ... which brings me to a question to you..
i see that you're in Brunei .. do you know of anywhere that I can get my hands on a good selection of books / literature ditulis dengan huruf Jawi? I'd appreciate any leads :) If you're in facebook, feel free to add me in.

Glad you like the graph! The rows going down are actually book number, so if you finished two on the same date, you just enter the same date in the "date finished" catalog in two successive rows.

Hi Lisa, Thanks for the greeting! Wow! 4,500 books! That's quite an effort. I am humbled in your presence! I see that we share Lord Jim by Conrad. Have you ever read it? I always list that as my single favorite book. I'm a huge Conrad fan, with an extensive Conrad shelf still to be added to my LT library. Anyway, great to make your online acquaintance. All the best!
