Tietoja minusta I am finishing up my master's degree and I will be starting my job as a high school English teacher in August 2006. I have a husband and two cats- Kaiser and Snoogans. I like to paint, write, read, and grow vegetables. I also like geocaching, and I am a member of wheresgeorge.com where I track the travels of my dollar bills. Any books that I do not keep are released into the "wild" through bookcrossing.com. I love lists. I love to track things.

Tietoja kirjastostani I was going to create two separate accounts, but that makes no sense when I have the handy-dandy tagging system at my fingertips. I have decided to put all of my books on this list and tag the ones I decide to put in my classroom when I am able to get them in there. This is going to take some time... I am finally starting to gain some semblance of control over the books in my house, but I'm not quite there yet. Hubby balked last year when I told him I needed at least three large bookcases, but now that I have filled four bookcases to the point of overflowing he has suggested installing rows of continuous shelves from floor to ceiling around our home office. Well, duh. I also have more boxes of books than I want to count, but they are mostly the books for my classroom. My childhood dream was to have a huge private library one day-- it was the only room I could ever envision in my idea of a dream house. I just never imagined the "library" would overgrow like a creeping ivy plant and take over the house!
