Tietoja minusta I'm a christian, IF-Baptist! Yet I'm not your standard Baptist haha...if you wanna know more you gotta ask ;) I'm a writer, I write all the time...I love reading, singing, music, the sky, coffee- I'm a HUGE coffee addict, poetry, thick books, old english, The Lord of the Rings and all things Tolkien, big book stores with caffes, snow, fall, Camp YES- favorite place in the whole wide world!!!, pictures & photography, weather, history, science, mythology, legends, miraculous and natural phenomena, big fields, dancing, happy music, big mugs, tea, etc. I am rather weird: I'm blonde, caffinated, slightly hyper when on coffee, and I love to laugh! I see things rather differently in life...people think its weird, but I just like to notice the beautiful things in life...I have a giant stuffed dog named Edward, a red lobster named William, a plush lime-green and yellow frog named Rupert, an ever so fun to squish bright blue elyphunt named Trunkles, a blue and yellow caterpillar named Larry, and a cow named Robert! its all very happy...I am love with the awesomest guy ever, his name is Dan, and if you want to know more about him I'd be happy to give his amazing life story, in long or short form! (long form is preferred haha) favorite color is blue...I love clouds...and rain...rain is my favorite weather! I love smiling at people I don't know, laughing at nothing in particular, and lots of music...

Tietoja kirjastostani I love my library! My personal one and the public one! I have around a bit more that 500 books in all...its very small I know...*sniff* but its growing!

Yep, I'm Baptist by chance lol. I grew up in a somewhat pagan household since no one really knew what they believed in. I've been able to witness to some of the family but thats as far as its come so far :). Actually, the local Baptist church just kind of found me one day :D. A girl brought me on the Sunday morning bus route and then they always kept paying me visits. So, I basically grew up in the church without my family being in church. It was pretty cool really :). I feel very blessed.
Hmmm...you asked what I like doing or what my spectacular gift is...really, to be fully honest, I haven't quite found it yet. I'm sixteen, home schooled, and still going with the flow lol. This is my first year being home schooled so I'm not completely antisocial. I've been studying world religions, cults, and occults recently and I kind of think I know what the Lord wants me to do in the future, to be a Middle Eastern missionary to the Islamic culture, but thats it. I spend my time being lazy though lol, hanging out with friends. I'm a typical American teenager except I have a light for my pathway.
I don't get on here that much either, since I'm schooled by the computer I try to venture away from it as much as I can. But, I read on your profile thing, you're also an Independent Fundamental Baptist? I don't meet much of them online lol. I actually got baptized only eight months ago when I realized that that was where God wanted me to be. It was an on going battle for me for years trying to decide which church I wanted to go to since my family didn't go. For a long time I went to a non-denominational but came back to my local church.
Well, its nice to get to know you! Oh, another thing I like to do, obviously, is read :). What do you like to do?

Jenny

p.s. On your profile you say that your favorite place in the world is camp. Me too!!! lol Except we probably have been to two different camps though. I have gone and still go to the Bill Rice Ranch in Murffesburro Tennessee. Best place EVER!!!! :D
Glad you enjoyed the pictures! You weren't alone in your reaction: they certainly brought a yearning to my heart, too!
Dear jcsoblonde: It is never too late to drop in and say "Hi". And "Pilgrim's Progress" is never off the subject. I suppose you could say that these young-uns are short-term missionaries. Luke is back from Uganda. We are still looking forward to seeing Evie someday soon. It sounds like you've been a missionary yourself ... five weeks at a camp. That's a long stretch. I like all of your names for the critters you house. I'm glad that you have a big heart. God bless. yangguy
Dear jcsoblonde: How did Rupert, Robert and Larry come to be named as they are? Just curious. You're correct ... there is a very pleasant smell in the air after it rains. I used to live in a state where it rained every other day ... well, not literally ... but almost. Lord willing, our son gets home from Uganda in a week, and our daughter from Ukraine in four weeks. It will be good to see them both. It was so sad, what happened in Minneapolis yesterday. My parents used to live there in Hennepin County, so we've been through there a good deal. No matter what happens, God is good and His lovingkindness endures forever. I am so thankful for a faithful High Priest, Jesus, who knows and understands our deepest pain and sorrow. We can "be of good cheer" because He has overcome the world. yangguy
Dear jcsoblonde: Welcome to "John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress" group. Feel free to join in on any conversation at any time, or start a new topic about Bunyan or his book. My wife, Nora (user: RedeemedTreasure), and I are ardent Tolkien and C.S. Lewis readers, as well as our children. Our oldest daughter is in the Ukraine teaching ESL with the Peace Corps. Our oldest son is in Uganda for a month working on a construction project. "Pilgrim's Progress" tops my list of favorite books, besides the Bible, since Abba Father used it to draw me to Jesus. Please feel free to stop by sometime and say, "Hello!" God bless! yangguy

PS: Jerusha is a neat name. Hopefully, some day, you can remember the last name that goes with it. Might it start with a "C"? Just a wild guess. I hope it helps.
