I am a nondescript, short, round person who blends easily into a crowd. I live with my computer teacher/musician husband, 1 teenage son, 1 really cute dog, 1 normal cat, and 1 bipolar, very old cat. I have one son in college who is spending our money at an alarming rate, most of it at the local Wal-Mart. After 18 years in banking, I am on my 8th year of middle school English teaching, a bizarre combination of careers. I read voraciously.

My younger son graduated from high school on May 23. I told his counselor to be sure to spell my name correctly on the diploma since I feel like I earned it through sweat and tears. (He actually had to attend summer school 3 consecutive summers, just to give you a clue what a bumpy ride it's been!)

Tietoja kirjastostani I have quite an eclectic collection. I like many genres, depending on my mood. I buy books faster than I can read them, so they are stacked all over my house in various strange places. The strangest part of my library would be the antique English textbooks I have collected. I don't have many, but my collection is growing.

I have kept track of the books I have read for almost 10 years now on index cards. I hope to get these recorded in my library soon. It will take me awhile! They will be tagged "Read 2006", with the appropriate year. My summer goal is to note the location of all my books through appropriate tags. I'm tired of not being able to find anything!
NOTE: A "CL" in front of a tag indicates that the book is in my classroom library. I currently teach 8th grade.
