Tietoja minusta I am an English teacher in an urban middle school in the midwestern United States. I am very interested in discovering exactly how many books I have, for I'm sure the number reaches into four digits. My classroom library alone, which is comprised of YA fiction for the most part, hovers near 800 all by itself, and I read grown-up stuff, too. What I really want is a room in my house lined with bookshelves, with a fireplace and comfy chairs. In the meantime, this online library will have to do. Small comfort, really.

This is going to take awhile. I'm just saying.

Tietoja kirjastostani I might very well have the definitive collection of cozy mysteries owned by a 45-year-old woman in the entire state of Kansas. Beyond that, I have mostly literature, both schmancy and contemporary. Nonfiction items are mostly centered on writing, reading, and teaching, as well as language, religion, mythology, paganism, and the like. Oh yes, and there's also aforementioned classroom library.

I am lucky...your dream library is my reality. The only thing I would add is better lighting, which I am working on. It's taken me fifty years, but my books are in alphabetical order by author, and subject order for the non-fiction and line my living room walls. The fireplace burns real wood and the two chairs and couch are very comfortable! It will happen for you too!

Your dream library is also mine! A huge fireplace, book lined walls a big couch and plush chairs! I have always dreamed of owning that room! Maybe one day huh? Right now you are at the top of my shared list, but I still need to put in a ton of books. I'm pretty sure when all of mine are entered they will go into four digits also. Right now seems like we share quite a few mysteries!

You have hit on exactly what people do want. A book lined room, each title in its proper place with a fireplace and comfortable couches and chairs. In today's world it would also include a handy computer station with printer, scanner, and photocopier and arrangements for mail. Don't give up on this. There is probably a place somewhere in a house in your future.
