Tietoja minusta I am a 20-something, working several jobs and fulfilling a dream--tragically unacknowledged during my years as an undergrad--of taking English classes. Simultaneously I am trying to figure out toward what book-related career I'd like to direct the rest of my life. I end up reading a lot for school, which cuts down on the amount of time left for outside reading. As long as books are involved, though, I'm happy.
Tietoja kirjastostani Half of my library (mostly books I've already read) is currently sitting in boxes in my parents' basement, being spared the endless sequence of moves I've undertaken in the past few years. The other half of my library is made up largely of used books haphazardly salvaged from library sales or the clearance sections in any used bookstore I happen come across. As a result, I have a lot of random books I probably never would have found, much less bought, floating around beside the ones for which I sought out and acquired at full price. I will read almost anything, and I'm working on having my library reflect that. If I had to pick a favorite genre, I guess I'd have to say the memoir. I definitely buy books faster than I can read them, so I'm always a step behind in that regard!

I finished One More Day on Thursday and I enjoyed it, but was disappointed how much it was like The Five People that Meet in Heaven. It does make you think about things that you regret doing or saying. Makes you remember to hug and say I love you every day to those you love....
