Tietoja kirjastostani The combined collection of the bookzombie household! Books without SBNs are not yet up, nor are the 1500-odd sf magazines (not sure how I'm going to do that...).
SF, fantasy and childrens' books form the core of the collection, with thrillers, historical, classics and modern novels in there as well, plus a sprinkling of non-fiction.

I have a question for you, if you please. I have been looking for years for an author I enjoyed as a tween. I have reason to believe it may be Robert Westall, but I can only find partial descriptions of his books online. I was wondering if you would be able to give me a more accurate description of A Place for Me? It would really help me out AND make my day. Thank you!

And lo and behold, you are. Hello!
I'm another person who catalogues every book in the house, but most of our overlap seems to be SF, all of which is actually mine. Mind if I add you to my watchlist?

My questions are: Do you have a pile of duplicate mags and digests like I do? Would you like to trade your duplicates with me, assuming we don't possess duplicate duplicates? Oh, and where are you (might make a BIG difference!)?

Very broadly, most of the childrens’ fiction and romance books are Mrs B’s, while most of the SF and popular science is mine. ‘Golden Age’ detective fiction tends to be both (Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, etc) but modern thrillers tend to be mine.
As I say, this is a very broad split and is not a definite rule as we do share quite a lot of interests in common.

Wow, what great taste you have! {grin} I only have about 80-90 books up so far, but of those you have 24... and some of the best ones, too.
It will be interesting to see what else you have; I anticipate some great finds.

Incidentally, for the full home catalogue I use bookcat (www.fnprg.com/bookcat). Highly recommended for the complete obsessive like myself who wants to record the short stories in your various anthologies, collections & magazines. And as a bonus the customer service is second to none.
