Tietoja minustaI am a teacher and lover of books. I was one of those children who used to read under the covers with a torch when I was supposed to be asleep and a dream come true is a day curled up with a good book.

Tietoja kirjastostaniI treat 'good' books with care and only use a book mark but treat trashy novels differently; turn back pages, fold back covers, crack the spine and frequently drop them in the bath. I was pleased with the number of Australian authors in my collection but also surprised by the number of books that have disappeared through lending and moving. I have quite a list of books I'd like to replace, an even longer list of books to catch up on and a ridiculous number of children's titles that I haven't had time to catalogue.
