Hey there! I saw the link on your facebook page. Haha, yes, I'm still basking in the glow of love, although the reality of a long-distance relationship is starting to sink in. On Easter I baked a loaf of buttermilk-lime quick bread. It was really easy, and--if you like limes (which I do)--really yummy!

I'm sorry it's dreary in Ohio. It was so beautiful here in Kansas for a week or two, and now it's dreary as well. We had a very snowy & icy winter, which I wasn't used to after spending four winters in Arkansas. Now I'm ready for storm season...bring on the tornadoes!! P.S. You should trying growing some plants indoors. A lot of craft stores have little flower growing kits that are really easy to set up & take care of. I'm growing grape hyacinth, lavender, poppies, rudbeckia, and spearmint in my living room!

REALLY! enjoyed your article. You couldn't possibly know, but I have been searching on-and-off for just such a piece -- one that combined various resources (archeology, oral history, linguistics) into some sort of coherent narrative to jumpstart my understanding.

Of course, I missed the finer points, but your article was a darn good match and I plan on digging through the bibliography as I've never even heard of the Fort Ancient peoples....

Alas, so much history, so little time.
