Hi Abruno,

I did a little digging on the question of the 5th book in the Dark Queen series at the beginning of the year. What I found is that Susan Carroll is indeed working on an addition to the series. At the time, it appeared as though the book would not come out until Summer 2009. It does look as if the title will be Twilight of a Queen.

Hi Amy,

I didn't even know about this "interesting libraries"! Very cool. I have just barely begun to catalog my books, most aren't listed yet. But they are mostly historical fiction! I have the Jeanne Kalogridis books in my TBR pile. I read Through a Glass Darkly in college when it first came out but I want to reread it before reading Dark Angel. I started my blog in part to help myself remember the books that I read, sometimes they start to run together. I have many Jean Plaidy historicals too, but I have not read any yet. Thanks for adding me, this is a cool feature!

Jamie is by far one of my favorite characters that I have read about. He has that manly-stubborn-brute-that-is-actually-a-... kind of guy... haha. And I love him for it. But yes, I too wanted to quit reading them about half way through the second book because it got way too slow for me. Obviously, I barreled through and am happier because of it. I haven't gotten into the Lord John series yet, but am planning on it to see how it is. What else are you interested in?

Hi there! I haven't read World Without End yet as I'm waiting for the paperback (due out here in Oct). Pillars was the first Follett book I'd ever read and wouldn't have read that if a good friend hadn't pointed out that it's not a thriller. I think you can see that Follett is a writer of thrillers in his skill at keeping the plot moving. There were just a couple of bits when I started wondering if I was getting a bit bored (nothing wrong with the book at all, but when I've spent 6-7 days on the same book I start hankering for something different no matter how good it is) but things always picked up again very quickly. Can't wait for the next one! (Please don't tell me anything about it!)

I see you're fairly new to LT. Welcome and good luck - I hope you enjoy it but I warn you it can get very addictive!

How funny! I was also named after Amy in the Little Women books! My mom was hoping to name me Elizabeth and call me Beth, but my dad hated the name. So Amy it was. :)

Thanks for the picture comment. I love seeing pictures from my favorite day and those flowers make me smile every time.

I see you're reading the Outlander series. Love them. Have read them many times. She's got at least two more in the works, it's all I can do to keep myself waiting! Any favorites you have that you'd recommend? Historical Fiction is my absolute favorite genre and I'm always looking for new stuff.

Thank you so much! I have actually finished my thesis and I am thrilled, although I'd love to do more research about Richard.

We have some really good books in common, and a ton of the rest of your library is on my wishlist, as if my TBR pile wasn't big enough! Did you like Lady of the Roses by Sandra Worth? That's one of the ones I've been looking at the most lately.
